We Welcome All to the Seattle Star Ball

Robert and Monique Hrouda

Dear Friends,

August 7-9, 2009 marks the 10th anniversary of the Seattle Star Ball, and we, the Organizers, would like to thank everyone who has participated in the past as a competitor, spectator, or volunteer to make this annual event such a success.

Due to the overwhelming and consistently increasing enthusiasm for the event, we have scheduled three full days of competition, including more Senior level events.  We are also offering more scholarship opportunities and more Top Teacher prize money.

In celebration of this special occasion, we are proud to present three world-class couples to entertain you.  We have once again invited U.S. and World 10-Dance Champions German Mustuc and Eveta Lukosiute to perform a sizzling hot Latin show on Friday evening.  On Saturday, current World American Showdance Champions Felipe and Carolina Telona will present their elegant and awe-inspiring dinner and evening shows.  Finally, on Sunday evening we are happy to welcome U.K. Rising Star Champions and British Open Finalists Urs Geisenhainer and Agnes Kazmierczak, as they bring the Seattle Star Ball to close with a spectacular Standard show.  Space is limited, as are the front row tables, so we encourage you to purchase tickets early.

As before, our venue is the lovely Hilton Seattle Airport and Conference Center, located only 15 minutes from downtown Seattle, and only a few minutes from the Sea-Tac International Airport via free hotel shuttle.

While in Seattle, plan to extend your stay and enjoy the many attractions that this wonderful city has to offer.  Whether your interests are hiking, shopping, sightseeing, or water sports, several websites, such as www.seattlecitytourist.com and www.seattleattraction.com can provide recommendations to make the most of your time in the “Emerald City.”

To use our online registration program, o2cm, log onto the website, www.o2cm.com and select our event, or go to www.seattlestarball.com and click on “competitor” to register online.  Paper forms are available, but we encourage you register online.  However, we do, of course, accept the paper version if you prefer that option.  If you have any difficulty with the online registration or questions about our event, please contact us at (206) 550-6461 or organizer@seattlestarball.com.  Please check out our website as we approach the date for updated information and heat lists.

We look forward to seeing you in August!

Sincerely,

Robert & Monique Hrouda and William Reneaud
